If you have ideas, research or a product from anywhere in the world, that you think we may be interested in publishing or purchasing, please contact us. Also, if you have skills which would be useful in the above context, please feel free to contact us if you would like to offer your services.
Submitting Materials for Publication Consideration
We are always interested in working with contributors from anywhere in the world - provided we can do this via the Internet. Whatever the contribution you feel you can make to our business, we are eager to explore opportunities for relationships.
This may involve:
An assessment instrument, be it:
An survey instrument, be it:
for various psychological, medical or other professional issues.
Perhaps you have done some research, which may be publishable, or combined with products being developed within our existing publishing schedule.Or even writing items for various tests, surveys or questionnaires we are currently developing.
Perhaps you have developed a training program which could be provided online - or know of someone who has!
If you might be interested in working with us in such a context, please contact us sooner rather than later. Our primary concern will be the potential market for your product, and to assist you to develop the product for the greatest chance of success.
All communication should in the first instance be via email with any material provided in electronic format. The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 5th edition, and Presenting Your Findings: A Practical Guide for Creating Tables (also published by the American Psychological Association) provides a useful guide.
Product Proposals
It will help us both if you have a clear idea of the market for your idea or product. Such questions as:
- Who might purchase it (discipline, profession, industry company)
- Who might use it
- What need might it meet
- How much might users be prepared to pay?
- Why is your product better than existing products?
- What research backs it
are useful to address because a great product without a market is unlikely to go anywhere.
If you don't have a product but have skills which might help us in publishing other tests, translating them or developing various forms of intellectual property, we would also like to hear from you. An example of what you have done or can do would help.

Recognising the important role of businesses in our society, Psych Press is committed to the active supporting of initiatives to develop communities around the world.
We believe in leveraging different opportunities to use our skills and capabilities to give back to society. As part of this philosophy we directly support the Cambodian Kids Can Foundation. This Australian-based non-denominational non-Government Organisation operates the Mekhala House orphanage located in Prey Veng, a rural province of Cambodia.
Mekhala House began operation in October 2005 based on an identified need to provide assistance to orphaned and under-privileged girls in the region. Since that time Mekhala House has grown to be a home for 42 girls and 3 male siblings, many girls are now charging through high-school and we have recently had girls accepted into University! It also provides employment for 11 permanent full-time staff. The focus is on girls because they traditionally experience a higher level of disadvantage in Cambodia. There is a severe lack of social infrastructure to care for orphaned girls in the region, whereas boys are often able to live in the pagodas (temples) with Buddhist monks, who channel community support to these children. Orphaned girls are also at risk in Cambodia of being abducted by sex traffickers and forced into prostitution.
The Mekhala House project differentiates itself from many other orphanages by providing a high level of care to a relatively small number of children. The Cambodian Kids Can Foundation aims to provide the children with the level of emotional, material and educational support that would be found in a typical middle class Cambodian family. Therefore, the staff-to-children ratio is higher than other similar organisations.
We firmly believe in the benefits of this organisation and are very proud of the results we are now experiencing. This however, is due largely to individuals and businesses getting involved and chipping in, and cannot continue without the invaluable continued support!
